Welcome to Alby House 

Located just north of Whitby, between Sandsend and Staithes, Runswick Bay is a jewel of the Yorkshire Coast - a huddle of picturesque old cottages clustered at one end of the majestic sandy bay, sweeping round to the rocky grandeur of Kettleness.

 

Alby House is situated in the upper village of Runswick, around 80 metres from the the renowned Cleveland Way path, and just across from the road down to the lower village and beach.

 

With off street parking, and 5 bedrooms comfortably accommodating up to 9 people, Alby House provides an ideal base to explore the Yorkshire Coastline...or just enjoy the traditional pleasures of Runswick Bay itself:  digging on the sandy beach, pottering in the rockpools, searching for fossils, or just watching the waves.  For the more active, surfing, kayaking, sailing and cycling are all popular pastimes here.  Although not usually at the same time...
