Holidaymakers the Beadle family gave Alby House a big thumbs-up after staying there this summer: "We have stayed in various cottages in Runswick Bay over the past 10 years and all agree that Alby House is the most comfortable and well-equipped of them all. The garden and den is fantastic for children...we have already booked for next year!".

The recent spell of hot sunny weather has been enjoyed by families flocking to the Yorkshire Coast, and Runswick is no exception! Runswick's traditional family appeal of sandy beach, welcoming sea, and rock pools to potter in, has proved a winner with all ages. And at Alby House the new sun deck and loungers are providing a popular alternative when the tide comes in!

New decking and sun beds make the most of the fabulous sheltered sun trap in the garden, alongside the Den. So you can now lounge at leisure, whilst kids (young and old!) enjoy the table football, ping-pong and snooker in the Den, not to mention the dolls' house, lego, artists easel, croquet ...
